    BridalGown.com launches! Thanks & credits

Consumer advocates Denise & Alan Fields proudly launched their new web site, BridalGown.com with an extravagant party in Boulder, CO December 18, 1999. Guests danced the night away to the music of the Barenaked Ladies while nibbling on BBQ imported from Ironworks BBQ in Austin, Texas.

The Fields would like to thank all those who made this web site possible---Electroactive of Boulder, CO did the web design and programming. Epicenter Creative provided the line art. Special thanks goes to Cindi Freeburn of Alfred Angelo and Steve Lang of Mon Cheri.

BridalGown.com is a new breed of web site that features:

  • Half the calories and none of the fat of other wedding gown sites.
  • Hard-hitting reviews and ratings of bridal gown designers, complete with size charts and other hard to find info.
  • Our exclusive BridalQuote gown shopping service: discount gown quotes from the web's best dress discounters!
  • Industry news and updates to keep brides up to date on the latest happenings in the dress biz.

Stay tuned for news and updates on this site!

Wall Street Journal recommends our websites!

The Wall Street Journal recommended this site as one of the best sites to surf for wedding info! Check out the article "I Was an Internet Bride" in the Journal Friday September 24, 1999 (Weekend Journal, page W1). Reporter Suein Hwang wrote: "It isn't fancy, (Bridal Bargains') site's information on reputable discounters and popular rip-off techniques make it one of the better (wedding) web sites! Be sure to browse the mail bag, which includes e-mails and letters from other brides and grooms sharing hints and cautionary tales!" If you saw the article, tell us what you think by emailing us!
